Polyurethane Concrete Lifting

Concrete Lifting & Leveling in South Florida

Concrete lifting and leveling uses expanding polyurethane foam injected through small holes to raise sunken slabs back into place. It fixes uneven driveways, pool decks, sidewalks and patios without tearing out and replacing the concrete. ProFoam & Coatings lifts and levels concrete across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade.

Why concrete sinks in South Florida

South Florida’s sandy soil, high water table and heavy rain wash out and settle the ground under slabs over time. When the soil under a driveway, sidewalk or pool deck shifts, the concrete above it sinks, cracks and tilts.

Uneven concrete isn’t just ugly. Raised edges become trip hazards, sunken slabs hold water against your foundation, and gaps between slabs keep getting worse as water washes more soil away.

How polyurethane foam concrete lifting works

We drill small holes through the sunken slab and inject a high-density polyurethane foam underneath. The foam expands, fills voids and lifts the concrete back toward level. Once it’s in position, the holes are patched.

The foam is lightweight, so it doesn’t add much load to the weak soil underneath, and it doesn’t wash out the way soil can. Most areas can be used again soon after the work is done.

Foam concrete lifting vs. mudjacking and replacement

    Mudjacking

Pumps a heavy cement slurry under the slab through larger holes. It works, but the material is heavy, the holes are bigger and the slurry can wash out over time.

    Replacement

Means breaking out the concrete, hauling it away and pouring new slabs, which takes longer, costs more and leaves new concrete that doesn’t match.

    Polyurethane foam

Uses small holes, is lightweight and water-resistant, and usually lets you use the area again quickly.

    Frequently asked questions

How long before I can use my driveway after concrete lifting?

Polyurethane foam cures quickly, so most areas can be used again soon after the work is finished. We’ll tell you the exact timing for your project.

Is foam concrete lifting better than mudjacking?

Polyurethane foam uses smaller holes, weighs much less and resists washing out, which is why many contractors and owners prefer it in South Florida’s soil.

Can you level a pool deck?

Yes. We lift and level pool decks and fix trip hazards around pools.

    Can you fix cracked concrete?

Lifting brings slabs back toward level and can close gaps, but it doesn’t erase existing cracks. Badly broken slabs may need replacement.

How much does concrete leveling cost?

It depends on the number and size of slabs and how much foam is needed. We provide a free estimate.
